Monmouth County, New Jersey
Indoor Billboard Advertising in Asbury Park, NJ
Six venues carry Digital Wave screens inside Asbury Park — a barber shop, a car wash, a brewery and three pizza counters. In a city of roughly 1.6 square miles, six rooms is enough to reach the same resident more than once in the same week.
The Market
Asbury Park Rewards Frequency, Not Reach
Asbury Park is roughly 1.6 square miles of city sitting between the ocean and the rest of coastal Monmouth County. You can walk it end to end in an afternoon. What you cannot do is match its name recognition to its size — the music and nightlife reputation here travels a great deal further than the number of people who actually live in it. That gap, a small resident base underneath a large cultural footprint, is the one fact that decides how advertising works in this market.
The boardwalk supplies the seasonal half. From late spring through Labor Day the beachfront pulls visitors in volume, and the blocks along Cookman Avenue and Main Street absorb the overflow when they come off the sand. The other half is the part most advertisers underuse: the same residents cycling through the same short list of businesses fifty-two weeks a year. Downtown here is a handful of blocks, not a district. There is no second commercial centre for that everyday trade to leak into.
So the six placements on this page are worth more together than the count suggests. A resident who gets a haircut at Talking Heads, picks up a pie on Main Street on Friday and finishes the week at the brewery on Cookman has met the same screen network three separate times, in three unrelated moods, and not one of those impressions was spent on somebody who lives an hour inland. Frequency is the product here. Reach is what summer stacks on top of it.
That maths favours advertisers selling to households and to the people who serve them — home services and trades, insurance and real estate agents, dental and medical practices, attorneys, gyms and studios, and restaurants trying to hold their off-season covers. Seasonal operators run it the other way round, going heavy from Memorial Day forward, when the visitor crowd is sitting in the same rooms as the locals.
The Six Rooms Cover Three Different Errands
This is not six versions of the same venue. Three are pizza counters — Crust & Crumble on Lake Avenue, Qua Pizza and Pizza Plus on Main Street — which means short, repeated visits at predictable hours, and a screen seen in the two or three minutes somebody is waiting on a box. One is Asbury Park Brewery on Cookman Avenue, where the dwell time runs long and the mood is social. Two are appointment and errand rooms: Talking Heads Barber Shop on Mattison Avenue and Asbury Auto Spa on Memorial Drive, where a person sits still, alone, with nothing else to look at. Those last two are usually the most valuable minutes on the list, and they are exactly the minutes a roadside board cannot sell you.
Asbury Park also does not sit alone. Ocean Grove is across the lake to the south, Bradley Beach is a few blocks beyond it, Neptune wraps the western edge, and Allenhurst, Interlaken and Deal run north up the shore. People from all of them eat, drink and get their hair cut here, which means the audience inside these six rooms is wider than the city line implies without ever thinning out into strangers.
The Venue List
All Six Placements
One screen per venue, so six venues is six screens. The breakdown runs three pizzerias — one of them a full bakery as well — one brewery, one barber shop and one car wash. Four of the six sit within a few blocks of each other in the downtown core along Cookman Avenue, Main Street and Lake Avenue; the other two are the appointment rooms on Mattison Avenue and Memorial Drive.

Running a Campaign Here
What Happens After You Call
You do not have to take all six. This works as a single-room test — one Main Street pizzeria, one month — or as a whole-list buy where every venue named above carries the same creative at once. Both are normal here, and the whole-list version is affordable in a way it never is in a metro market.
- Tell us whether you want the downtown rooms, the appointment rooms, or all six
- We confirm which of the six screens have open rotation slots right now
- Send artwork, or we build it — then it goes live on the venues you picked
Rates are deliberately not printed on this page, because they depend on how many venues you take and how long you run. The pricing structure lives on the billboards page. If you own one of the rooms in this city and want a screen of your own, that is the venue partner programme, and it costs the venue nothing.

Asbury Park Is Rarely Bought Alone
A few minutes west along Route 35 and you are in Ocean Township — six more venues through Wanamassa and Oakhurst, the same Monmouth County trade area, and a different set of daily errands: bagels, a food hall, a liquor store, a consignment shop and a nail salon. The two markets together are the whole network — twelve rooms, twelve screens — and most advertisers here take both. The coverage map plots every one of them.
